Awaken now supports Lighter, so you can easily connect it and have us crunch the tax numbers for you. Our lighter integration has built-in support for:
Spot trades
Perp trades
Funding payments
Deposits & withdrawals
Internal transfers between sub accounts
Liquidations, and a lot more :)
You can follow this quick guide to get your Lighter account properly hooked up to Awaken 👇
1. Navigate to the "Tools" tab and click "API Keys"
2. Once you are there, click on "Read Only Token". That will bring you to your read only API keys, and at the top right should be a button that says "Generate read only token". Press that.
3. From here, name your token something like "Awaken Tax", and make sure to click "Allow sub-account access" so we can pull in all your sub-accounts. You can set the expiration to whatever you want, but we recommend 365 days.
4. At this point, you'll get a popup that shows you your read-only API key. Press to copy it, and save it somewhere securely. You won't be able to access it again, so if you accidentally forget to save it. You can "Revoke" the key and create a new one.
At this point, you can now navigate back to Awaken to continue with the next steps below:
1. In the Accounts tab, click to "Add Account"
2. Search for "Lighter" and click "Connect"
3. There will be two fields now, the "Read-only API Key", and an "L1 Address" field. For the Read-only API Key, copy the key you saved from above, and paste it here.
4. For the L1 Address, go back to Lighter and in the top right, click on the little wallet icon. That should show a dropdown with your wallet address and your account balance. Click to copy the wallet address (it starts with "0x"). And then paste that into Awaken under the L1 address.
5. Click to save Lighter, and you should be good to go!
