Custom Fiscal Years
If you hold or trade crypto on behalf of your business, you may have a custom fiscal year. You can set this in Awaken, and all information on your "Taxes" tab will be based off of this.
To edit your fiscal year, you can navigate to the "Settings" tab and scroll to the bottom. There will be a "Fiscal Year" box, and you can click edit.
From here, you can set the start date of your fiscal year. Ex. if you fiscal year starts on April 1st, you can set this to 04-01. Your end date will be +12 months from your start date.
Once you save this, we'll start recalculating your taxes and when it is finished you'll be able to view all your tax information.
Pulling Reports for Custom Date Ranges
To pull a report for a specific month or period of time, you can go to the "Taxes" page and scroll to the bottom.
In the top right there will be a button that says "Custom Date Filter". If you click that, you can specify a start and end date.
Once you have that selected, you can click "Generate" on any of the below reports and they'll be generated based on the dates you selected.
