Using Awaken with FreeTaxUSA is very easy! They don't have a specific format CSV upload, so what you can do is just download our reports and put the numbers in. There are just a few steps.
To upload your capital gains:
Download your 8949 form from Awaken
Navigate to the "Income" > "Investments and Savings" section
Add a new investment (called Awaken)
Add both Checkbox HC and Checkbox K numbers from your Awaken 8949
To upload your income:
Go to the "Income" > "Other Income" section
Scroll down to "Digital Assets"
Copy and paste your income from Awaken into the input box.
Once you do this, your taxes should be good to go! You may want to mail in your 8949 to the IRS directly as FreeTaxUSA doesn't have a way to upload it directly.
